Scott Davis – Lead Guide

cott Davis has worked in the ski industry for over 30 years. He is a full IFMGA/ACMG Mountain Guide, focusing on skiing and climbing.

Along with being a member of the ACMG, he is also a Professional Member of the CAA and has worked as an Avalanche Forecaster for ski and highway operations as well as a consultant on film projects and for forestry operations. Scott is a past president of the ACMG as well as an instructor and examiner for the CAA.

Scott is an exceptional teacher and brings an extremely high level of professionalism to all his endeavours. We feel lucky to have him on our team. 

What is your goal in life?

Heck I’m 55 – isn’t life already over for me?

What do you do for fun?

I Live for Fun.

What do you do in the summer?

In chronological order – coffee (la Baguette), read (Thinking Fast and Slow), Climb (Revelstoke Rock is the best!), Cycle (sorry road only – but think Mt. Revelstoke 5,000ft straight up – and DOWN!), Cook (someone has to – Rick isn’t around J), socialize.

What is your job in the summer?

I retired at the age of 38 – see above.

Blue – just like my eyes

Favorite run on the Mustang tenure?

That is a tough one – I love each run for what it has to offer – from “Andiamo” to the big guys like “5th Dimension” – every run has Quality written all over it – heck why do you think I work here?
