In December 2006 Mustang Powder purchased two new 2006 Pisten Bully 300 snowcats for guest transportation. The benefits of the Pisten Bullys over the Bombardier snowcats are many:

More power - 330 h.p. Mercedes engine (our old Bombardier machines were 275 h.p.) This means more speed and more skiing for guests.
Better suspension – Torsion suspension means a smoother ride – and less maintenance and repairs.
Better tracks – grouser bars are closed profile and don’t break as easily.
Quiet, fuel efficient engines that consume 20% less fuel than the Cummins engines in the Bombardier machines.

Last year during our first season with these new snowcats, all of our guests noticed and commented on how much smoother and more comfortable the new Pisten Bullys were.
